We were delighted to welcome our Trust CEO, Mr Mark Lacey, to our wonderful school today. Over the course of this year, we have worked hard to develop a strong culture of reading across the school, in line with the National Year of Reading. Alongside the introduction of a new phonics scheme, we have invested in our children's futures by purchasing over 4,000 brand new reading books, helping to give them the very best start in life. To celebrate all of this, we were thrilled to invite Mr Lacey to officially open our brand new school library.
Caterpillar class had a very busy term and it all started with some mysterious footprints and a jar of spilt honey in the classroom!
We were very lucky to have a wonderful Easter workshop led by our Chaplain Louise before Easter, bringing a true taste of Easter before the chocolate feast began!
From the whole team, from us to you . . . Happy Easter!

We enjoyed a lovely end to the term with a shared Easter service alongside all of our DSAT family today. Our reception class were absolutely delighted to spot our very own Padre Louise who shared some thoughtful words about how we are connected by a thread. Our theme this year was all about belonging, with a powerful message to send us off ready for the break.
